The power of AI. The potential of humanity.
The technology doesn't choose the trajectory. We do.
I work on the human dimension of AI: the people shaping it, the incentives behind their decisions, the consequences of those choices and what we should build next.

The question
How do we use the extraordinary power of AI to accelerate the best of humanity's potential?
We keep talking about AI as a race. But a race assumes everyone is heading towards the same finish line. We're not. The more important questions are who's choosing the direction, what their incentives are, what we're strengthening or surrendering along the way and what kind of future those choices produce.

The human dimension
The most advanced technology in the world is only as good as the people, incentives and motivations behind it.
Safety is necessary. But it isn't the whole test. The question is whether the people shaping it have the judgement, character and imagination to use its power well. I've spent my career learning to read exactly that: how incentives, power and pressure shape what people actually do.

The conversation the room needs to have
The promise of AI isn't to do what we already do, faster. It's to do better things, better. That takes the courage to question what exists, and the imagination to build what doesn't exist yet.
I work with boards, investors and leadership teams. Every session is built for the room it's in.

The book
A leadership code for the tech age
In 2009, a water privatisation deal priced poorer households out of their own water supply. Girls were bullied at school for being dirty. The company behind it had a good website, a stated mission, published values and a page about corporate responsibility.
Better Than Your Behaviour starts with that gap: the distance between what people say they stand for and what they do when power, incentives and pressure intervene. We run on inner code we rarely examine, let alone upgrade. The book is about changing it.

“An eye-opener for leaders who are following well-established pathways — with an urgent call for each of us to think again and to re-set. The goal? Creating a better future.”
Angelica Micallef Trigona
Director of Corporate Communications, Hornetsecurity
“Very daring and outspoken. I have no hesitation recommending this as essential reading.”

About
I’ve lived in the Middle East for most of my life. My work spans leadership, investment and technology across emerging and developed markets. I spent fifteen years assessing the people who run companies, the people who fund them, and the dynamics that determine whether value is created or destroyed. I turned that experience into a protocol and a set of tools for improving human judgement and decision-making.
Alongside my work as a ForHumanity Fellow, I founded AmaniLabs to help investors and leaders decide who and what is worth backing in AI. Those choices will shape what comes next.
